Risma - Sports-themed photoshoot

This particular session was held last month, and the theme was sportswear. Lucky for us our talent Risma was quite athletic and didn't mind being out under the hot afternoon sun. My fellow photos and I however, came home being tanned and sunburned but it was all worth it.

We did the photoshoot at Likas Sports Complex.

Burnout 360 - Sabah Drift Challenge, 5 - 6 Nov 2011

I just remembered about this event which was held on the 5th-6th November. Drifting is somehow a rarity here, so when one comes, it received an overwhelming response from the public, especially when one of Malaysia's top drifter, Tengku Djan came to showcase his skills.

Once again I only managed to attend the first day of the event. It's been quite sometime since I last tried panning shots, so some of my shots here weren't sharp. :D

Tengku Djan testing out a contestant's car.

The man himself...

An event like this would not be complete without the girls...

Mr. Kuching 2010 at The Spring Kuching

With nothing much to do last week, my friends and I decided to have a TT at The Spring while shooting Mr. Kuching. It's gonna be the last outing with the Tammy as I will send it for servicing and hopefully it will perform like new when it comes back. I used an aperture of f4 with iso settings of 400-800. Pop-up flash was used on some shots.

The event attracted a lot of people and photographers alike. There you can see a collection of fine glasses and bodies. It was packed, so I settled just at a spot hence the monotonous angle.

He won the Novice category.

The youngest at 15 years old.

He looks good for a 65-year old.

We didn't stay long however as we needed something to eat. Besides, the crowd's getting bigger and our knees getting weaker. By the way, I'm already in KK now to enjoy the school holidays while thinking of getting a short zoom. I'm torn between the Zeiss 16-80 f3.5-4.5 and the Tamron 17-50 f2.8.

PSKPP 2010 : Volleyball

PSKPP is the annual sports event whereby education staffs will compete among themselves. This year my school organised volleyball. Normally I would joined as a player but this year I just want to take some photographs. Anyway my school(or rather zone) won first place. Here's some photos of the actions last Saturday.

Tomorrow, I will be going back to Kuching by road to celebrate Gawai. To all friends, Happy Gawai Dayak and have a nice school holidays!
