Krabi, Thailand trip Day 2

Day 2 started off with some more photos the Hotel, Haleeva Sunshine, Ao Nang

 Reception area
Information area filled with places of interest

 Swimming pool at the back.

Internet/leisure area cum pantry where free coffees are provided.

 Dining area facing the pool.

 Stairs going to guest rooms.

Ao Nang are famous with its islands. We booked Phi Phi island tour the night before and we were picked from our hotel next morning.

 Our tour guide.
Recreational boats parked here to pick up tourist for island tours.

That's our ride for the tour

The boat ride was quite rough but it was fast.

Our first stop is Bamboo Island. It's the first time in my life I've experienced clear blue seawater and fine sands. This place was mesmerizing.

What looks like a serene place can turn into a disaster area as well.

Time to go! Next stop was Maya Bay where the movie The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed.
Again, this place was heaven.

Then we head to Phi Phi Island for lunch and a little sightseeing of the island.

The buffet lunch was included with the package. Satisfying meal indeed.

Our last stop was somewhere a bit farther than the island for some snorkelling.

We were served some fresh fruits on our way back to Ao Nang.

A bus took us back to the hotel but my wife and I still not satisfied. We still have ample time to explore the place. So I decided to rent a bike from the hotel for a good price IMO. 240 baht per day!

We went to explore other parts of Ao Nang town.

Wife decided she would have her hair braided.

While waiting for her, I decided to have some refreshments. That cider was delicious and went down nicely with the mango sticky rice.

We stumbled upon some cabaret performers promoting their shows. Do provide tips after taking photos with them.

Time to get back to the hotel and we stopped at a small restaurant, but is full with patrons.  Something must be good here.

Food here is competitively priced and taste great! No wonder folks would wait for vacant seats.

Our dessert! Pancakes! There were numerous stalls around Ao Nang selling variety of pancakes and they tastes good!

That's the end of our day two. Day 3 coming!
